Sport-Wash® is safe for all washable fabrics, and yet powerful enough to remove odours and your toughest stains such as soil, blood and grass.
Its secret is that unlike other detergents designed to leave brighteners, fragrances, and other residue behind, Sport-Wash® rinses completely. Nothing is left on your clothing to clog the pores of your fabric. Cotton, wool, and synthetic materials are left completely clean. Insulation like down, Thinsulate, and Hollofil fluff up for maximum warmth. And even difficult to clean sportswear materials such as Gore-Tex® have their waterproofing and breathability restored.
The total rinsability of Sport-Wash® leaves nothing behind to smell, clog, or radiate UV glow from brighteners. While Sport-Wash® does not contain phosphates to "brighten" your clothes, you'll find it does not need them because on its own it leaves fabrics cleaner than any other detergent.

I've been using it for years now to wash my running and hiking clothes, including Gore-tex, and believe it has helped to maintain them in better condition than if I was using ordinary detergent. They retain their colour and water repellency, and it leaves no "detergent" residue.

This stuff is great
2 January 2019I use this for all my 'exercise' gear (Compression tights, cycling knicks, cycle tops, sports tops etc). It doesnt leave residue and allows tech fabrics to keep their wicking abilities. You dont spend $150+ on a piece of clothing and then wash it in something that stops the clothing doing its job. Have been using this for years, and will keep using it.

Awesome - does what it says
By: Paul on 1 January 2018Have been using six months. Would use it on everything if it wasn't so expensive but I do save money as I hardly use in wash booster now. Washes out residue left by previous products. I can tell how much I need to add to wash load because it stops foaming if the amount of oils in the fabric is more than the detergent can handle. If I add even a small amount to a clean load there is foam everywhere, so you can really tell how clean or dirty the load is. It is very precise like nothing I have used before. Fabrics are softer and more pliable, there is no residue left behind in the machine. Will definitely continue using.
