Kunzmann Metal, Wax and Base Scraper. Suitable for light base planing.

Usefull for cleaning hairs from base and smoothing base repair areas. After application of P-TEX to the base on repair, use the metal scraper to gently remove the excess material. Can also be used to check that the base is flat.

The extended steel scraper model, instead of the 135x60mm dimensions of the 3316 model, the new model (code 3315) is 5.5cm longer. This allows for a more stable application of the scraper to the slide when removing excess co-fix, thus reducing the risk of the slide "creasing."

Sanding: this is the process of removing excess grease remaining on the slide after hot lubrication or removing excess co-fix remaining after repair. We hold the steel scraper with both hands, position it approximately 60-80 degrees (by eye) relative to the base surface, and press it against the base in a pushing motion, maintaining the correct direction, i.e., from nose to tail.

A metal scraper is used for base repair work (removing excess co-fix and removing irregularities).
