The Bondi Camper Van Awning is quick to pitch and simple to use with one single pole, great for those who need extra space for a couple of nights on the campsite.

The lightest in the awning collection, the Bondi has a small pack size taking up very little room in your camper van.

This fixed style awning needs the support of your camper van, so cannot be left free standing but the multiple doors provide flexibility along with the removable groundsheet. An excellent awning for storing bikes, kayaks or just sheltering from the rain.

IMPORTANT
For vans with outward opening doors, check that there is sufficient clearance between the door, when opening, and the roof of the awning. This is best done by drawing a scale diagram of the side elevation of the van and awning using dimensions measured on the van and dimensions shown for the awning.

Left in the cold

I recently purchased the Vango Bondi Low Awning & was literally left in the cold on the first day of my three week road trip. Given that your picture displayed the awning attached to a VW Transporter, I presumed it would fit my vehicle. I had no idea (& neither should I reasonably be expected to know) that the awning channels on vehicles may vary. Your website should be clear & advise upfront that the awning does not fit all VW Transporters & that the buyer may need to purchase a Vango Driveaway Awning Kit at a further cost of $78. I was also very shocked that I was not permitted to return the awning for a full refund because 'As the awning is now used we cannot accept it for return'. How absurd! I had taken the awning out of its bag, discovered that it did not fit, & returned it to its bag. I am grateful that, as a gesture of goodwill, your company sold me the kit for half price. However I remain reluctant to recommend your awning & your company to my friends & Trakkadu network.
