Short ferrule for tapered shafts with a tungsten carbide tip.
Tungsten carbide (WC) is a chemical compound containing powder forms of tungsten carbide and carbon which are during a specific sintering process fused together into a dense "hard metal".
Tungsten carbide (widia) is much stiffer than steel, so the tip of the ferrule is very durable.
Purpose of use: hiking, trekking and ski poles
- Tube type: conical
- Total tip length (including round carbide tip): 76.3 mm
- Inner diameter of ferrule: ∅ 9.5 mm
To find the right ferrule diameter for your pole please follow the instructions for measuring the diameter of the pole.
For mounting the ferrules on pole ends, hot melt glue sticks can be used.
