TEST...
A rather large number of bilge pumps have been submerged into a sea-water bath consisting of:
- 70% slat-water
- 10% thick oil
- 10% wasking powder
- 10% sand
The 12V pumps have been connected to 15V pumping the liquid through a 10m hose up to a level of about 2.5m above the pump-outlet.
Result...
After 400 hours continuous use the test was concluded. Neither the pumps nor the incapsulated motors showed any sign of unusual wear.
